The ODM has revived its nomination dates in order to give room to the party’s Members of Parliament to take part in the budget process for the Financial Year 2017/18 taking place in the first week of April.
The National Elections Board headed by EALA MP Hon. Judy Pareno has effectively revised the earlier time-table for the party primaries.
According to the new dates, Bungoma, Busia and Machakos will be the first to conduct the primaries on April 7. Kisii, Nyamira, Samburu and Trans Nzoia will follow on April 9.
On April 11, the party will conduct nominations in Mombasa, Kilifi and Kwale Counties. Kisumu, Tana River and Siaya will be on Thursday the 13th.
On Saturday 15 the party will preside primaries in Kakamega and Turkana. On Monday 17, the party exercise will be in Kajiado, Taita Taveta and Narok. Migori, Lamu and Homa Bay will be on Wednesday the 19th. The last two dates are Friday 21st ( Nakuru, Uasin Gishu, Vihiga) and Saturday 23rd (Nairobi, Garissa and Makueni).
